What to Expect Consider before submitting an application: This position is expected to start around May 2024 and continue through the entire Summer term (i.
e through August 2024) or into Fall 2024 if available.
We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time (40 hours/week) and on-site, for most internships.

You must be able to work 40 hours per week.
Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

D Degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics or equivalent Experience with Python, C/C++ Please note that these requirements listed below are suggestions and not strict prerequisites Energy | Firmware Intern, System & Gateway Controller Develop, enhance and debug testing software in Python Develop and debug system level firmware in C and C++ Attention to detail shown through continuous improvements and following best development practices Remain engaged, proactive and positive while solving very challenging problems Experience with RTOS, peripheral interfacing (CAN, Ethernet, SPI) and networking protocols (TCP, IP, UDP).
Desired experience with Protobuf and UDS Energy | System Integration and Test Automation Support hardware/firmware integration and system testing of Tesla Energy Products including high power grid-connect batteries, EV chargers and solar products Hands-on testing, debugging, and troubleshooting on real hardware Support firmware validation and regression testing at the full system level Develop test automation scripts in Python Design and implement next generation test systems, i.
