POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our rapidly growing Technology team.
This full-time position is in Palo Alto.

a Staff Engineer at Velocity Global, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the company's software products and solutions.
As part of the engineering team, you will work closely with the product and design teams to understand the requirements and deliver high-quality software that meets the needs of our customers and operations partners.
The ideal candidate should have experience working with Node.
js, React or Java and should have experience building on AWS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and develop software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and align with the company's overall strategy.
Work with the product and design teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality software on time and within budget.
Participate in code reviews and ensure that all code adheres to the company's coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate with other engineers to identify and resolve technical issues.
Continuously improve the performance and scalability of the company's software products.
Stay current with new technologies and industry developments to ensure that the company's software products remain competitive.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the overall growth and development of the engineering team.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
Bachelor's (or higher, e.
g.
, MS, or PhD) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field such as physics or mathematics, or equivalent technical experience.
6+ years of experience in software development preferred.
Strong experience in one or more programming languages such as JavaScript, Java or Elixir
Experience with development frameworks such as Node.
js and React
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience working in a remote environment.
Please note: In the spirit of winning together, the position will be based in Palo Alto, CA and in-office collaboration is required for at least one day per week.

The base pay depends upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
This role is eligible for annual performance-based bonuses, flexible time off, health care benefits, retirement savings, and employee incentive plans.
Pay Range
$168,100—$216,100 USD
