Software Engineer, Low Voltage Test Engineering

What to Expect We seek a highly motivated individual for a position on the Low Voltage Software engineering group.
The team develops frameworks and tools used internally for automatic design validation, vehicle integration, reliability testing and manufacturing testing.
We work very closely with vehicle firmware, and hardware.
Our teams’ products are used in both the high- volume context of manufacturing, and on a per unit bases for designers.
We are looking someone with a good understanding of EE fundamentals and an interest in automation.
What You’ll Do Understand vehicle low voltage architecture and be able to design a test that proves circuit functionality Understand and or develop low level IC drivers using protocols such as SPI, I2C and LIN Develop hardware in the loop tests which integrate vehicle firmware, hardware, and custom test hardware Root cause problems between vehicle firmware, hardware and custom test hardware Understand IC electrical capabilities, fault behavior and diagnostic features What You’ll Bring Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or equivalent Programming skills in Python or equivalent Experience designing PCBs Demonstrate EE fundamentals Experience with low voltage power distribution
