Job Description
About the Role:
As a Sofware Engineering Intern at Guardant Health, you will have the opportunity to work with our Automation Service Engineering team on projects aimed at automating our workflows.
This role offers hands-on experience in software development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, development, and testing of software applications.
Collaborate with senior engineers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
Participate in continuous improvement efforts.
Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software development.
Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computers Sciences, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and data structures.
Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.
g.
Python, Java, C++).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.
g.
Git).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Additional Information
Hybrid Work Model: At Guardant Health, we have defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time.

S.
employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

For positions based in Palo Alto, CA or Redwood City, CA, the hourly range for this full-time position is Undergraduate $29/hr.
, Graduate $34/hr.
, and Doctorate $42/hr.
The range does not include benefits and, if applicable, overtime, bonus, commission, or equity.
Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Employee may be required to lift routine office supplies and use office equipment.
Majority of the work is performed in a desk/office environment; however, there may be exposure to high noise levels, fumes, and biohazard material in the laboratory environment.
