seeks a Developer at our Palo Alto, CA location responsible for development focusing on design, coding, testing, quality assurance of specific product features in a development team.
Expectations and Tasks: Ability to analyze and solve issues in existing and new code.
Provide application implementation services typically within boundaries of specifications and project plans.
Design activities include requirements analysis and design documentation.
Product implementation, testing, and integration.
Maintenance activities include error analysis and removal.
Extends, modifies or adapts existing designs.
Practice of modern software engineering including agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, test automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field of study and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience: Experience must involve two (2) years in the following: Typescript 2.
x-4.
x, JavaScript ECMAScript 2015-2020, HTML4 and HTML5, CSS3 and SASS; Build Responsive UI; Collaborate with business users to gather requirements, work with design team to design UI application based on requirements; Build proof of concepts prototypes; Frontend development building reusable UI components and common library using Angular 1.
X and Angular2.
x-12x; Design and build UI Framework for large-scale web application; Maven, Jenkins, Docker, IntelliJ IDEA, SVN and Git for source control; Unit testcase frameworks: Jasmine, Karma, Junit and code coverage; Backend Development frameworks: Core Java, Oracle relational database, SQL and Restful API Architecture; and JSON, DTD and XML processing.
Travel: N/A.
Telecommuting permitted.
