Your Role
You will be the driving force behind building a robust product portfolio at Enumerix.
This is not just a job; it's an opportunity to lead, innovate, and shape the genomics landscape.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of a cutting-edge 3D light sheet imager from the design phase to manufacturing.
Coordinate activities between internal stakeholders and external engineering partners and suppliers to design, develop, integrate, qualify, test, and validate various components and subsystems.
Develop and standardize qualification and verification test processes and generate documentation for processes and reports.
Effectively communicate technical information and project priorities with external and remote partners.
Mentor junior team members and provide technical expertise in mechanical design and systems design.
Requirements
Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, or related fields).
Over 8 years (or 3+ with PhD) of industry experience in mechanical and systems design of life science instrumentation with opto-mechanical components.
Demonstrated success in the product development cycle from concept design to manufacturing.
Proficient in Solidworks and PDM.
Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: C#, MATLAB, Python.
Experience with design for manufacturing and test development involving optical components.
Knowledge of data and statistical analysis, and understanding of image analysis and processing.
Experience programming motion control and asynchronous hardware control is strongly desirable.
Superb attention to detail and hands-on experience with documentation for mechanical design and assembly, design transfer, and testing.
Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with demonstrated ability to work independently.
Catalyst for change with exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
Experience in managing remote business activities and external vendors.
For this position, the base pay range is: $130,000-190,000 per year.
