be doing your internship with the embedded software development team responsible for embedded software development of Varian's linac accelerators.
You will be working within an existing framework to develop and enhance the automation suite used for product verification.

An enthusiastic team of SW engineers within an innovative and creative R&D team including multiple engineering disciplines.
Together we develop oncology product including the framework and toolset to automate verification tests of the software for medical linear accelerator.
We work in a fast-paced environment focusing on innovating oncology products that help save patient lives.
Responsibilities:
Work with senior members of the automation and product development teams to implement software automation scripts using existing framework and validate with test runs.
Participate in engineering documents review.
Follow process and produce quality deliverable supporting the process.
Required Skills:
Experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, Python.
Sound OOAD knowledge
Passion to explore career in software automation.
Ability to perform automation and manual tests.
Work well in a team environment.
Good analytical, investigation, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-motivated with eagerness to learn.
Education and Experience:
Attending a four-year Computer Science or related Engineering major having completed 3+ years of coursework in software engineering.
Coursework and project work in Object Oriented Design and Python, Linux/Windows OS.
