Position Title: Front Office Supervisor / Assistant General Manager
Reports to: Senior Manager
Position Summary
Directly supervises all front office personnel, Housekeeping, Engineering - BreakFast and ensures proper completion of all front office duties.
Directs and coordinates the activities of the front desk, reservations, and other areas in the absence of the General Manager.
Full-fills the duties of the hotels General Manager in their absence as needed.
General Accountabilities
* Train, cross-train and retrain all Front Office Personnel
* Maintain or exceed guest satisfaction ratings as agreed with Company goals
* Participates in the selection of Front Office and all other hotels Personnel
* Schedules the Front Office and all other hotel team members
* Evaluates the job performance of each Front Office employee
* Maintains master key control
* Resolves guests’ problems, quickly, efficiently and courteously
* Updates group information.
Maintains monitors and prepares group requirements
* Enforces all cash-handling, check cashing and credit policies
* Conducts regularly scheduled meeting of Front Office personnel and all other team members
* Prepare performance reports related to Front Office
* Maximize room revenue and occupancy by reviewing status daily.
Analyze rate variance, monitor credit report and maintain close observation of daily house count.
Monitor selling status of house daily
* Monitor high balance guest accounts and take appropriate action
* Maintain required pars of all front office stationery, guest, cleaning/guest, kitchen and food supplies
* Review Front Office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basis.

* Ensure accuracy of sales leads and provide constructive feedback to front office personnel
* Report any major issues to the hotel's management company if the General Manager is not available
* Cover minimum 3 front desk shifts per week, or depending on hotel budget
* Perform other duties as requested by management
* Support Stay Cal Hospitality SOP’s and find ways to motivate Team Members to follow
* Maintain and promote Stay Cal Hospitality“Green Program”
Job Qualifications
* Education: High School Diploma, Associates degree or higher
* Experience: 6 months; or the equivalent of education and experience.
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* General office or bookkeeping knowledge
* Math and reasoning approach to process information quickly and efficiently
* Attention to detail
* Critical thinking
* Time management
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $68,000.
00 - $75,000.
