_Client Service Representative - Cat Spay/Neuter Clinic_
Shifts: Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 6pm

We provide high-quality, high-volume, low-cost spay/neuter services for cats and kittens, and a vaccine clinic for cats.

*RESPONSIBILITIES*
· Customer Service at our Veterinary Clinic Front Desk - offer great client service, check cats in/out, schedule appointments, answer phone and emails, liaise with medical team as needed

Prepare invoices, take payments, close cash drawer daily
· Become proficient in our medical clinic software Clinic HQ and shelter management software ShelterLuv, and enter client medical and intake records accurately
.
Liaise with partner shelters and individuals seeking homes for cats, to identify cats for intake; coordinate transport and intake examinations
.
Collaborate with people across the whole Nine Lives team, including staff and volunteers, as well as with other shelters, rescuers, and pet owners
.
Help coordinate foster homes for cats and kittens
· Respond to voicemails and emails on a timely basis
.
Other duties as assigned
*EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:*
· Great customer service – experience in customer service strongly preferred
.
Excellent written and oral communication skills including excellent telephone skills to communicate courteously, efficiently, and accurately over the phone
.
Fluency in both English and Spanish (read, speak, write) is required
· Comfortable with using technology, learning new technology systems, and following standard operating procedures (training will be provided)
· Commitment to Nine Lives mission
· Attention to detail; team player, "can-do" attitude willing to jump in and help as needed
.
Experience in a veterinary office or animal shelter, and knowledge of veterinary / medical terminology is highly preferred
*Work Schedule:*
Monday - Thursday 7:30am - 6pm (10 hours x 4 days/week)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.
00 - $24.
00 per hour
