The Physical Security Lobby Lead is responsible for the Palo Alto and Austin lobby operations.
The coordinator works congruently with SAS Management to support Global Safety & Security Operations.
The Lobby Lead ensures that the employees, contractors, and visitors safety and security needs are met while at work at the Palo Alto and Austin locations.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
Front Desk Operations.
Coordinate and update the activities listed in the Front Desk Manual.
Assist front desk lobby personnel during breaks and lunch, by covering the front desk.
Manage the site key control and work with facilities personnel to provide monthly updates to the inventory database.
Provide backup coverage during special events at the Palo Alto site as well as off site coverage during team events and outings.
Maintain site Badging Program for the site as well as support the Americas Region.
Collaborate and respond to requests from e-staff and customers during board meetings, executive briefings, and special events.
Update Standard Operating Procedures for the team.
Identify, investigate, resolve incidents/breaches and prepare reports Supervisory Operations.
Coordinate weekly 1:1 reviews with Austin and Palo Alto security personnel.
Plan for coverage when security personnel is on leave or sick.
Attend daily pass downs with HQ Workplace Solutions Staff.
Coordinate daily pass downs with the Bangalore GSOC every morning and afternoon.
Manage annual goals and training of the front desk security personnel.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Knowledge on relevant Systems, technology and equipment (e.
g.
Access Control, CCTV etc).
Excellent knowledge of lobby safety and security controls and procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Outstanding organizational skills.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays as operational need dictates.
High school diploma.
Associate's Degree is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in security management/transportation/lobby ambassador or similar position.
