Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Direct Care Staff at CAD Adult Day Program in Menlo Park, CA, where you will play a crucial role in providing compassionate care for adults with physical and/or mental disabilities.
As a Direct Care Staff, you will assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, transportation, and socialization.
You will provide emotional support and encourage client independence, and work as part of a team to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients.
Qualifications
A passion for caring for adults with physical and/or mental disabilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Able to handle unpredictability or emergencies with calmness and quick decision-making
High school diploma or equivalent
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or equivalent is desirable, but not required
A current First Aid/CPR certification or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
Fingerprint Clearance
