Are you a teacher who has a passion for Roblox, Minecraft and coding? We are looking for passionate and highly motivated teachers who can work one-on-one with elementary and middle school students, focusing on Roblox, Minecraft, and coding.
This position is in-person and located in Atherton, California.

Our goal at Aspen Learning Lab is to inspire students to love learning through hands-on activities, curiosity, and positive reinforcement while meeting social, emotional, and academic milestones.

*Responsibilities:*
- Collaborate with team to develop effective teaching strategies
- Curate engaging, student-led curriculum
- Foster a positive and engaging learning environment
- Create lesson plans and instructional materials tailored to student's needs
- Integrate hands-on, project-based learning activities to make topics come to life
- Employ a variety of educational techniques
- Utilize informal and formal assessments to monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
- Provide weekly updates on student progress
- Help student build their social and emotional competencies and self-esteem and confidence
- Collaborate with other educators/team members
*Skills:*
- Strong knowledge of the subject matter being taught
- Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students
- Knowledge of current educational trends, best practices, and technology tools
- Patience and understanding when working with students who may be struggling with the material
- Strong organizational skills
*Requirements:*
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 4 years of experience as a classroom teacher or tutor
-Understanding of Roblox and Minecraft games
- Must be based in the Palo Alto, CA area
