*CAM Educational Services *is looking for bright /outgoing /dedicated individuals that have a passion for working with school-aged children from 4-14 years old.
We are an after-school program that aspires to give the students we serve every advantage for success, by not only helping them get through their current year but also preparing them for their next year.
We offer help with homework provided by schools, as well as helping students with extra work to help them sharpen their technology, STEM, academic, arts and language skills.
You would be a great fit for our Program if you have the knowledge, familiarity and skills on the below subjects:
* Game Design - Block Programming
* Minecraft Modding using Block Programming
* Creative Coding - Block Programming
* Python
* JavaScript
* HTML and CSS
* STEAM/STEM Lessons
Other job expectations:
* Ability to adapt curriculum, hardware, or classroom setup to support any technical or social demands that may arise during the program.
* Willingness to go from one learning site to another
* Ability to develop a positive culture and warm after-care classroom environment
* Facilitate indoor and outdoor games and arts and crafts choices and STEM and tech activities
* Coordinate drop off and pick up to and from afterschool ( company's car will be provided)
* Maintain timely and professional communication with parents, colleagues, and students
* Maintain care for classroom and materials
* Participate in planning meetings and support preparation of after-care offerings
* Contribute to the preparation and clean-up of after-care classroom
*Further Position Qualifications*
* Atleast 3 years of passion for and experience tutoring or teaching children
* Ability to work collaboratively
* Flexibility and ability to adjust to changes
* Strong communication customer service and problem-solving skills with students, parents and staff
* Welcoming demeanor
* Openness to feedback
* Bachelor's, AA Degree or current College students Majoring in Computer Science, Education or related field
* Able to work 4-6 days a week , between 12pm-6pm but morning availability is also preferred
* Able to work in a fast-paced environment
