*Job description* We provide after-school soccer classes for Grades K-3 all around the San Francisco Bay Area in elementary schools.
Currently searching for coaches and assistant coaches to work two or more days per week (between the hours of 1 p.
m.
and 5 p.
m.
) from Monday to Friday during the school year.
No previous soccer teaching/playing experience is required.
USPTA/PTR certification is preferred but not required.
Covid vaccination proof is amust.
Compensation is at a flat rate (depending on experience) for after-school programs.
This is a part-time position with a *maximum of 3-8 hours per week.
* *After-School* *Soccer Coach Responsibilities:* * Manage a class of 8 - 16 students (ages 5-10).
* Teach the soccer class using provided lesson plans.
* Attend a two-day training/shadowing session to learn more about the program.
* Transport soccer equipment to and from class.
Set up the soccer equipment.
* Take attendance and sign in and sign out students for class.
* Interact with parents and with school office staff when needed.
* Provide feedback for each student by the end of the session.
* Click a few pictures each session of kids in action *Requirements:* * Must be 19+ years old upon application.
* Must enjoy working with kids and professionally managing a class.
* Must be flexible, reliable, punctual, professional, and has an enthusiastic approach.
* Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
* Must carry a resilient, positive attitude.
* Must be able to work independently and within a small team.
* Must have own reliable transportation throughout the East and South Bay and Peninsula.
* Willing to do a live scan background check before working.
*Locations:* * We provide after-school soccer programs in multiple public and private elementary schools located throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
We make every effort to only assign schools that are within what you determine to be a reasonable commuting distance.
Currently, programs are located in San Jose, Saratoga, Palo Alto, Portola Valley, Los Altos, Fremont, and Menlo Park.
Candidates must be readily available and living in the San Francisco Bay Area.
*Schedule:* * Classes are 1 - 1.
5 hours long.
* Start times for classes can vary anywhere between 1 p.
m.
and 4 p.
m.
, depending on the school.
* Flexible schedule, work two or more days per week from Monday through Friday.
* A maximum of 3-8 hours per week _*Candidates need to be local to the US or already have a necessary working VISA to work in the US.
The employer does not provide any Visa assistance.
