Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Climbing Wall Route Setter to work at a corporate fitness center in Redwood City, CA.
This is a per diem position and shift hours may vary.
Job Responsibilities:
The Climbing Wall Route Setter will assist in the following:
Create an engaging and inspiring climbing experience by setting routes of specific pre-determined grades on the indoor rock wall.
Stripping and washing holds as necessary.
Assisting in wall maintenance as required.
Requirements:
Must have current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
Have an extensive background in climbing in an indoor rock climbing setting as well as route setting experience.
Has a positive, can do attitude.
Reliable, hardworking, and fun
Must have at least one year of route setting experience.
Current knowledge and industry standards of excellence.
Prefer current PCIA or AMGA
Communicate professionally using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and relay information to and from clients/guests.
Competent with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
