Excellent condition Marantz 2245 receiver.
Everything works as it should.
When you’ve heard the 22 series you understand why it has become a standard in the vintage audio collecting world.
This 2245 is 45 watts per channel, with the classic weighted spinning tuning dial, and three separate tone controls (Bass, Mid, Treble) that include breaking out the Right/Left channels.
The Loudness button has just the right “oomph” for lower listening levels and all the knobs have the right “weight” while fiddling with them.
This one has just been serviced and is clean inside and out.
A new power switch was installed.
Also the DC offset and bias were set along with new LED lighting installed to complete the setup.
A complete demo to your satisfaction will be provided using high quality speakers.
