Paul Strom is a well-established top salon, located for 28 years at Rockaway Plaza in the scenic and popular tourist area of Rockaway Beach.
The complex has a charming and eclectic assortment of shops including a cafe, restaurant, gift shops, personal services and professional businesses.
The salon offers a variety of services, including hair services, massage, waxing and skincare treatments.
All operators are lessees of their work areas and are independently licensed businesses.
You will keep your own work hours and schedules, make your own appointments, and handle all of your own monetary transactions.
This is an excellent situation for operators with an established clientele.
The entire salon has a beautiful, calming, spa-like atmosphere and is an extremely pleasant place for both clients and operators.
Rather than the conventional salon layout of 'stations-in-a-line', our hair stations each have their own individual 'space' for a uniquely personal client-stylist environment.
There is a relaxed and harmonious environment in the salon and the clients and staff are quite friendly.
Services are generally by appointment only and many of the clients have been regulars for years.
There is ample free parking available adjacent to the salon.
We are right off of Highway One, 15 minutes from SF and the north Peninsula.
and we are very close to the beach.
Part-time reception service is available and the salon will provide for the greeting and directing of clients; shampoo back bar supplies and products; towels, smocks and capes; and customer service area supplies (tea, coffee, etc).
Laundry facilities are available on-site for massage and skincare operators to use (when not being used for general salon laundry needs).
All operators and staff are fully vaccinated and this is also a requirement for any new operators wishing to lease space.
All operators must follow California Department of Consumer Affairs regulations for cosmetologists and cosmetology establishments and are personally responsible for any violations found in their work areas.
Operators are additionally responsible for following without exception any current or future local or regional COVID regulations and all Cal OSHA Covid regulations including sanitizing work areas and touch surfaces frequently.
Everyone who works in the salon is, and must be, fully vaccinated, including any new lessees.
We do require any unvaccinated clients to wear face masks at all times in the salon.
