Vintage Royal Sphinx Delfts Windmill on Waterway w/Boat ‘by Boch,’ it appears virtually new, from in-law’s estate, a memento from early 2000s trip.
Plate is 9-7/8"-dia.
w/flared rim by which is about 1-1/2” H.
In addition to the Holland countryside scene, the rim.
The latter has a subtle scalloped edge w/alternating long and short arcs.
The Delfts blue and white ceramic wall plate has a floral (Acanthus-like) border around its rim, punctuated by 3 equally-spaced heart-shaped leaves.
On the underside is the Royal Sphinx/Boch/Delfts hallmarks.
The foot of the plate has a pair of perforations intended for insertion of string/wire for hanging (not included.
