Vintage Percolator Coffee Pot Manning Bowman Wood Handle Glass Top - $50 (san carlos)

Gorgeous to look at and fun to use.
Manning Bowman made some of the most stunning pieces of art in the world of percolators, and this is a great example.
Unlike a lot of antique and near-antique percolators, this is complete: cord, stem, basket, basket lid, dome.
The cord is original.
Replacements are on Amazon and eBay.
Very clean! The glass dome is wider and higher than usual - it's fun to watch it percolate, plus you can check the strength of the coffee as it goes along.
It sits on little rubber feet.
(Unscrew those to access the inside works if you need to.
) The wooden handle is increasingly rare.
Eleven and a half inches high, brews eight cups (or two big fat mugs).
This is from the 1930s, I'm told.
It does NOT have the automatic shutoff that was invented about 25 years later.
When it's done brewing you unplug it.
