The white porcelain piece comes in its original hallmarked corrugated carton and inner wrapping.
Two-piece box is topped with a lid mounted by a bevy of Japanese baby figures.
The base is a conventional piece with the TAKAHASHI hallmark imprinted on its underside.
The porcelain babies are masterful work of delicate facial details.
A beautiful irregular-shaped box is hand painted with flesh tones.
As noted, it has mark on the solid white base, ‘Hand Painted Takahashi San Francisco.
’ It is about 2-1/2" H x 2-1/2” square.
