Administrative Support (PCHA) The Contract Specialist is responsible for working with PCHA leadership in support of the procurement of provider services.
The Contract Specialist will manage the contracting workflow, contract reporting and assist in the provider compensation processes.
Essential Functions The essential functions listed are typical examples of work performed by positions in this job classification.

Contract Process and Administration Works with legal department to develop contracts related to new compensation models; utilizes approved templates to create and process employment agreements.
Reviews contracts for accuracy, and to ensure they adhere to federal, state & local laws, as well as PMG/PCHA policies.
Responsible for keeping scheduling and timesheet platform updated to reflect current contract terms.
Manages contract workflow and renewal processes ensuring timely and effective implementation of contracts through communication with key LPCH/PCHA/PMG personnel and vendors.
Reviews compensation and contract terms with providers and management; responds to requests for assistance from internal and external sources in resolving issues associated with the implementation of contracts.
Identifies and makes recommendations to improve efficiency and accuracy via the Contract Administration and PMG contracting and compensation processes.
Maintains contract database to ensure timely renewal of agreements as well as compliance with individual terms.
Participates in interdepartmental work groups regarding operational issues and provides educational in-service presentations as required.
Work cooperatively and jointly with others to provide quality customer service.
Compensation Management Coordinate with Compensation team to manage monthly documentation and tracking of items that impact provider compensation, such as: Timesheets, provider-expense and CME tracking and processing Dashboards monitoring provider productivity Invoice Services –reimbursement for providers contracted via a PSA Support annual compensation process, including year-end calculations, quarterly true-ups and regular review of compensation to ensure compliance with contracts and legal guidelines.
Liaise with Finance, HR, and PMG payroll to ensure communication of routine and ad hoc changes related to physician compensation.
Minimum Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred in a work-related field/discipline from an accredited college or university.
Experience: Two to five years of directly related work experience.
Experience managing contracting processes or contract development preferred.
Licensure/Certification: None required.

Knowledge of basic decision support systems, basic database querying and related analytical software.
Knowledge of computer systems and software used in functional area, with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.
Knowledge of provider employment regulations and contract principles preferred.
Knowledge of employment contracts preferred Pay Range Compensation is based on the level and requirements of the role.
Salary within our ranges may also be determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as required by the role, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
Typically, new team members join at the minimum to mid salary range.
