Highlights:
This position is 80% client facing, 20% phone facing.
This is a full time phone position: Monday to Friday 8:30 am-5:30 pm.
Compensation is hourly starting at $25 to $27+ per hour, depending on experience.
Estimated annual compensation would be $55,000+.
This is a career track position, advancing to other opportunities within the organization.
General Responsibilities:
Greeting patients, answering telephones, scheduling, and confirming appointments
Entering patient information into the office system
Explaining the basics of health insurance cost share and collecting patient balances
Collect and post payments, including credit card transactions
Track and report assigned metrics
Other duties as assigned, including ongoing team education and development
All duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures
Qualifications
Required:
Must be a people person with a great attitude and attention to detail
Strong telephone, communication and time management skills
Education: Associates Degree, or higher
Experience: 1-5 years of medical front office and / or administrative experience
Lead Experience: One (1) year of leading a medical office
Preferred:
5+ years of progressively responsible, medical front office experience
2+ years of leading a medical office
English / Spanish bilingual is a plus to better serve the community
Knowledge of MacOS, G-Suite, and VOIP Phone Console
Understanding of health insurance claims and procedures is desired
