Ford Model e Platform Architecture Engineering is looking for a technical project manager to work with embedded software systems teams on Ford vehicles.
In this role you will work cross functionally with the product development team, the vehicle firmware teams, and systems teams to coordinate software and deliverables for the next generation of Ford vehicles.
You will be expected to pivot quickly on new ideas.

The minimum requirements we seek:

in Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
5+ years of experience in project or program management
5+ years of experience in automotive or related technical fields.
Preferred qualifications:
Master’s degree, PhD, or equivalent experience in a related technical field.
5+ years of managing cros-functional and/or cross-team projects.
5+ years of experience in embedded firmware engineer, networking, security, automotive/industrial.

What you’ll be able to do:
Provide software development process and project management.
Cross-functional and cross-team coordination and communication to help deliver on committed project outcomes.
Work closely with software engineers, systems engineers, testing engineers, and product managers throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage project schedules, identifying blockers, potential issues and incongruencies, and clearly communicate them to stakeholders.
Lead external vendors on timelines and deliverables, and take responsibility for milestone coordination between internal and external releases.
Drive several technical projects across vehicle software domains, helping set priorities for engineering.
