Element Energy is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test with substantial industry experience in Cloud / MLOps platforms to drive software quality in the AI, Cloud/MLOps organization at Element Energy.
As SDET, you will lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative solutions for end-to-end quality of software build and release process for the cloud platform.
You will be responsible for quality of software build, deployment, and CICD-based release phases within the organization through design and implementation of best-in-class automation frameworks and practices.
This position requires day-to-day co-working with software engineers in data engineering & machine learning / deep learning where frequent, on-demand new feature/function deployments occur as part of regular R&D operations.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about and experienced in software QA technologies to impact the software platform of applications and services for next-generation battery management.
You’ll be involved in the complete data & software development life cycle from product/system concept through to services for customers.
*Responsibilities*
You will be responsible for:
* Managing all test processes and executing tests
* Developing quality assurance practices that will enable the delivery of high-quality software
* Automation of testing process to help team drive quality as part of software development best-practices
* Collaborating with team to clearly define and understand requirements, and the feature acceptance criteria
* Building test cases and scripts/codes for Cloud, MLOps, CICD and AI/ML modeling and data analytics software
* Documenting testing procedure, test cases and testing results
* Developing software tools in order to drive testing efficiency
* Conducting functional and user testing
Experience:
- Strong knowledge of MVC architecture, CSS, JSP, PHP, GitLab, GitHub, and web services
- Proven experience in software development and quality assurance processes
- Familiarity with automated testing tools and frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
