Revolution Medicines is seeking an experienced team member with a background in corporate food and beverage services to oversee all food and bevereage activities including the running of the onsite café, company catering needs, building snacks and beverage selection, and ad hoc requests.
We are looking for someone who is engaging in their style and able to build relationships across the company to support all company related food and beverage needs.
This role is an individual contributor reporting into the Chief Operating Officer with a dotted line of reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer.
This role is based out of our Redwood City, CA headquarters with onsite presence needed three days per week.
The Opportunity: This role will have significant impact across RevMed by overseeing and enhancing food and beverage services which is tightly aligned to the company’s culture.
Focus areas will include vendor and project management and primary responsibilities include: Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain productive relationships with Revolution Medicines’ food, snack and beverage vendors, negotiating terms that benefit operations and improve the overall employee experience.
Spatial Renovations: Work closely with facilities on all renovations of dining spaces and employee break rooms to enhance customer service, flow and dining experiences, ensuring projects align with Revolution Medicines' growing headcount and overall functionality requirements.
Feedback and Quality Control: Implement robust feedback mechanisms, such as surveys and facilitating the Cafe Committee, etc.
, to gather daily and quarterly insights on service and food quality, using this information to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Kitchen Permitting, Maintenance, and Inspections: Ensure all vendors comply with health and safety regulations, including permitting, maintenance, and regular inspections.
Catering Requests and Management: Oversee on-site catering operations, ensuring all requests are handled efficiently in tandem with the facilities team, department administrators and vendors, aligning with Revolution Medicines quality, service standards and the following needs: Surprise and Delights: Conceptualize and implement 'surprise and delight' strategies to exceed customer expectations, creating memorable experiences that reinforce company culture and boost morale.
Cultural and Company Celebrations: Plan and execute cultural and company celebrations with the facilities team, emphasizing our commitment to diversity, inclusion, and employee engagement.
Employee On-site Team Building Activities: Organize and lead food-related team-building activities for Revolution Medicines departments to promote a cohesive and motivated work environment.
Communication on F&B goals/events/updates: Work closely with HR/culture champion to provide visibility into F&B goals, actions, plans and events.

On-site “office hours” for feedback from employees/customers.
Required Experience, Skills and Education: Robust collaboration skills and the ability to communicate effectively across a wide range of styles and stakeholders.
8+ years experience within Culinary and/or Food & Beverage industry (or transferable experience) with 3+ years hands-on experience.
Passion for culinary work with skills to supervise and direct vendors and their operations and partner on developing innovative experiences.
Demonstrated ability in customer service, gathering input and feedback from clients/colleagues to enhance their service quality and customer satisfaction.
Skilled at setting quality standards which are benchmarks to assess overall acceptability of all food and beverage offerings and services including food quality and cleanliness, service levels, cost management, and others.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage big projects or program implementations, including development of clear timelines/milestones.
Strong MS office skills with familiarity of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.
Preferred Experience, Skills and Education: Biotech or pharma experience and/or familiarity working with individuals from research and scientific backgrounds.
The expected hourly range for this role is $210,000 to $240,000.
An individual’s position within the range may be influenced by multiple factors, including skills and experience in role, overall performance, individual impact and contributions, tenure, and market dynamics.
