● 8-10 years of relevant work experience in IT, technical field, with project management.
● Project management and leadership skills for managing projects and cross-functional project teams
● Ability to identify risks, anticipate challenges and seek to proactively head-off obstacles with mitigations and contingencies
● Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
● Experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality
● Problem-solving and decision-making skills
● Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues
● Analytical and problem-solving skills to handle any issues that occur during project completion
● Organization and time management skills to keep projects on track and within budget
● Excellent resource planning and task scheduling skills
● Organizational and time management skills, and high degree of attention to details
● Experience mentoring, and coaching people on project management methodologies
● bachelor’s degree in fields of business or management, information technology, engineering or operations
● Project management certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from
the Project Management Institute, or equivalent.
● Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.
g.
, waterfall, agile, scrum) and high tech is a plus
Industrial Engineering/Systems background is highly preferred.
