A Day in the Life The Transfer Pricing Manager will lead efforts related to all transfer pricing matters, including establishing proper transfer pricing policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing requirements across all jurisdictions, managing operational transfer pricing process and identifying and implementing the process improvements to drive operational efficiencies.
The Impact You’ll Make Manage global Transfer Pricing Compliance and documentation, ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of TP reports, inter-company disclosure forms, and country-by-country reporting, monitor regulatory deadlines; Perform quarterly transfer pricing calculations including preparation of legal entity level forecasts; Prepare ASC 740/FIN 48 analysis and position documentation related to transfer pricing; Work cross-functionally with other stakeholders such as Treasury, Legal, Accounting, FinOps, People on inter-company and transfer pricing matters; Manage and coordinate the intercompany agreement process; Advise on tax controversy and transfer pricing aspects of business expansion including new market entry, supporting new product / service offerings, reorganizations, M&A, etc.
Identify and solve TP issues as well as enhance process and operational efficiencies; Monitor and provide analysis of legislative and regulatory developments.
Basic Qualifications 6+ years of Transfer Pricing experience, preferably with experience in both in-house with a multinational technology corporation and in a public accounting and/or law firm; Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other relevant areas.
Master’s degree is plus.
In-depth knowledge of the US transfer pricing rules, OECD guidelines, and transfer pricing rules in various jurisdictions, including general knowledge of the OECD Pillar Two rules Strong proficiency in Excel, G Suite a plus Ability to work independently as well as on teams with diverse personalities and skill levels Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and responsibilities in a fast-paced environment Strong oral and written communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail A creative problem solver who is open to new ideas and new approaches Effective interpersonal skills AppLovin provides a competitive total compensation package with a pay for performance rewards approach.
Total compensation at AppLovin is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Depending on the position offered, equity, and other forms of incentive compensation (as applicable) may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to dental, vision, and other benefits.
