What to Expect
The Product Manager – Commercial AC Charging will be responsible for the market success of Tesla’s AC charging products in commercial applications.
This person will drive a holistic set of hardware, firmware, and software features to meet both driver and property owner needs.
Acting in a critical role as the champion of a comprehensive feature set vision, this individual will drive a broad range of ever evolving initiatives, constantly chasing the ideal customer experience across a range of use cases.
What You’ll Do
Own the product vision for a holistic experience across drivers, property owners and installers
Identify and drive new and updated hardware requirements
Scope and initiate development initiatives to ensure everything from installation to daily user experiences are incredibly intuitive for everyone from a single unit install to commercial stakeholders with thousands of assets under management
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure development efforts are effectively prioritized and aligned on complimentary timelines
Champion a holistic view of charging energy management in commercial settings, interacting with other Tesla products in a seamless way while ensuring daily transportation needs are reliably met
Working with Policy, Compliance and Deployment teams, develop a broad understanding of global market needs and requirements for products in these segments
Anticipate risks to the product launch schedule, explore solutions and contingencies to mitigate the identified risks
Report to cross-functional stakeholders on product roadmap status
Create and track metrics to indicate a successful product rollout
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills
Collaborative and process oriented
3+ years of project management, product management, NPI, or equivalent experience
General knowledge of charging, residential solar or energy storage a plus
MBA a plus
Understanding of building electrical and construction industries a plus
Familiarity with regulatory compliance a plus
