What to Expect
Tesla is currently seeking a highly motivated ITASM Logistic Associate to join our team onsite at Hanover Campus in Palo Alto.
The ITASM Logistic Associate position within the IT Asset Management team will be the behind-the-scenes support contributing to the success of the IT Operations teams as a whole and whose mission is to optimize the utilization of Tesla's IT Assets.
As the main hardware logistic support, the Associate must have a strong understanding of supply chain flow, excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset as well as experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment.
The main task of this position will be to ensure the flow of hardware inventory is constant and to assist in other day-to-day Asset Management activities to support Tesla’s initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Partner with other teams to maintain inventory required for daily operations
Tracking delivery and receipt of new and existing IT equipment
Management, maintenance, and audit of IT hardware inventory levels across multiple stockrooms
Facilitate and maintain logistics of IT haredware across several locations
Stocking/re-stocking of vending machines with IT equipment
Processing equipment returns
Properly package, send, and track outgoing shipments
Maintaining data integrity/accuracy of asset records in database
Documenting and refining IT equipment lifecycle processes
What You’ll Bring
Physically able to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 50 lbs
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to navigate ambiguity, work independently under pressure, prioritize, and stay focused in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail and process discipline
Knowledge of or experience with IT Ticketing and Asset Management applications like ServiceNow ITSM, BMC Remedy ITSM or other similar products preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
General knowledge of the various types of IT hardware
Requires 2-4 years of experience in an IT Operations and/or Logistic role
Prior Asset Management experience a plus

Expected Compensation
$21.

40/hour + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
