What you do: As a Product Manager, you lead the development team and collaborate with Drivemode cross-functional members and global Honda teams to build the future mobile apps and platforms.
You will support various aspects of the product such as vehicle remote controls, digital purchase experience, data analysis, and alignment with infotainment systems.
This is a critical part for Honda to be the leading company in the electric vehicle and future software-defined mobility market.
Japanese and English language proficiency is required.
What you will do: Deliver the most delightful and useful mobile apps for vehicles in the world Closely collaborate with Japan and American Honda members to discover user and business needs, as well as technical requirements to build the best solutions Help global expansion projects by defining needs and requirements with various regions such as Asia and Europe Lead and empower the development team to execute efficiently and effectively Do whatever else needed to achieve the goals Occasional international travel (mainly Japan, possibly other countries) What We’re Looking For: 2+ years of Product Management and a total of 5+ years of professional experience, in tech startups or large corporations, ideally both, with a track record of successfully launching and growing consumer-facing apps Japanese and English language proficiency is required Customer centric, goal oriented, value driven, proactive problem solver Technically savvy; this role requires a basic understanding of backend, frontend, and embedded software.
Software engineering background is a plus Great collaborator; experience in a multicultural/ multi-region environment with many stakeholders involved It’s a plus if you have worked on software products that interact with hardware (connected/ IoT devices).
Huge plus if it is a vehicle-related or mobile app connecting to the hardware $120,000 - $150,000 a year This is the position's estimated annual salary range not including the company's bonus structure.

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to demonstrated skill set, years and depth of relevant experience, and some role-dependent factors.
