Product Management Intern
Overview
As a Product Management Intern for Informatica's Cloud Platform team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our product management team, gaining hands-on experience in shaping and delivering cutting-edge data management solutions.
You'll contribute to the success of our cloud-based products by assisting in various aspects of product development, strategy, and execution.
Responsibilities
Conduct analysis of assigned product types by reviewing new products, monitoring industry trends, staying updated on news, and understanding market conditions.
Keep track of regulatory changes that impact our products.
Pull and analyze data warehouse and other sources.
Utilize tools like Excel and PowerBI to analyze data.
Track key usage metrics and projections to assess adoption and effectiveness.
Collaborate with various stakeholders to gather requirements and define the product roadmap.
Work closely with Product organization (PM, R&D, TechPubs, etc.
) to drive product requirements and ensure timely product releases.
Assist in creating and supporting product and marketing strategies.
Update product sales sheets, customer presentations, and stay informed about market trends.
Key Essentials
BS/MS in business, Engineering, Marketing, Computer Science, MBA, Technical, Business/Administration, Finance, Management, or Economics.
Interest in data analytics, DevOps, security, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
Root cause analysis and problem detection skills.
Knowledge of relevant industry trends (either consumer or enterprise products and markets).
