Corporate, Foundation, & Association Relations (CFAR) works closely with faculty and administrators to facilitate and manage philanthropic engagement with corporate, foundation, and association constituents.
The work spans the medical enterprise and requires active and collaborative work with many allied campus offices, including the central development office, sponsored research, tech licensing, development services, and industrial contracts.
The work requires maturity, patience, tact and keen judgment to handle sensitive situations, taking into account Stanfordʼs mission, policies, and interests.

This position reports to the Director of CFAR and supports the CFAR operational, administrative, and development activities.
In this role, you will: Develop, implement, and maintain new processes and procedures for project management efficiency and effectiveness for the entire team to adequately capture project volume and flow.
Conduct research for funding assessment and support the gift life cycle.
Craft, run, and execute trainings and presentations on behalf of the CFAR team and increasing efficiency of processes with partner teams and organizations.
Collect and analyze data, create reports and briefings and snapshots, review and explain trends; formulate and evaluate alternative solutions and/or recommendations to achieve team goals.
Manage scheduling needs for the Director, CFAR, and leadership.
Actively collaborate and consult with non-Development offices to ensure compliance and consistency with university policies; direct engagement with funders, faculty, staff, and external constituents.
Analyze and interpret university policies; develop, revise and implement procedures for team.
Administrative and event logistics and execution support.

• Knowledge of sponsored research is preferred, but not required.
• Demonstrated high integrity, discretion, and trustworthiness.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and multi-task.
• Ability to take initiative and ownership of projects.
• Ability to identify and execute tasks and objectives and make recommendations for workflow efficiencies.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally both orally and in writing.
• Ability to routinely and independently exercise sound judgment and discernment in making decisions.
• Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant subject matter knowledge.

• Extensive knowledge and skill set using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Adobe PDF.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Constantly perform desk-based computer tasks.
Frequently stand/walk, sitting, grasp lightly/fine manipulation.
Use a telephone, other electronic devices.
Rarely lift/carry/push/pull objects that weigh 11-20 pounds.
The expected pay range for this position is $69,100 to $120,000 per annum.

The pay offered to a selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal equity, geographic location and external market pay for comparable jobs.
