Our Fortune 500 retail client is looking for a talented Senior Art Director to join their team!
In this role, you will provide Art Direction & creative vision for the in-house team responsible for content creation for our client's Home Team.
In partnership with the ACD/CD, you will work with the photo, design, and production teams to achieve the highest possible standards of excellence, creating great content for web, digital, and retail channels.
Candidates must exhibit outstanding leadership and organization skills in addition to sound design judgment and expertise in photo direction and interior styling.
The ideal person is a curious, out-of-the-box thinker, who likes to wonder "what if?" and has a can-do attitude.
They should be detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced team environment within a large, complex organization.
This is a hybrid role in which candidates must be Local to Los Angeles or San Francisco.
Responsibilities:
Support the ACD/CD in development of style guides, overall visual direction & team workflows.
Lead & oversee Designers, Senior Designers & possibly Art Directors.
Lead & oversee work by outside agencies, creators & production partners.
Collaborate with studio and production teams to create stunning photos that will utilized across multiple platforms.
Concept & execute assets as prescribed by creative/marketing briefs while adhering to brand standards.
Create excellent work that is on-time, on-strategy, on-brand & on-budget, while moving at the speed of social.
Meet with team members regularly for feedback & guidance.
Help organize & plan workload for Design team.
Serve as a liaison between the Design team & ACD/CD.
Help create & maintain documentation for channel-specific learnings & best practices.
Push boundaries & expectations to help consistently improve the quality of the team's work.
Qualifications:
Experience level: Experienced
BA in Design, Photography or a related field or equivalent experience.
5-10 years previous Design/Art Direction experience including 3-5 years management experience.
Proficiency in industry-standard Creative tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, Premiere Pro, After Effects, etc.
).
Knowledge of current interior design trends and styling.
Excellent communication, time management & presentation skills.
Detail-oriented, organized, collaborative.
A demonstrated passion for storytelling & content creation.
