The Role: BigHat Biosciences is seeking an exceptional individual for an Alliance Manager role to efficiently and effectively advance our partnered programs.

BigHat’s proprietary platform, MillinerTM, integrates a synthetic biology-based high-speed wet lab with state-of-the-art machine learning technologies into a full-stack antibody discovery and engineering platform.

We are looking for an Alliance Manager to ensure that BigHat exceeds its partnership goals and remains a partner-of-choice for collaborations with biopharma and biotechs at all stages of the discovery and development process.

Key Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for established strategic partner teams, cultivating and maintaining strong relationships while facilitating effective communication and alignment between internal teams (Science, Drug Development, Corporate Dev & Ops), BigHat Leadership, and external partners.
Effectively drive commercial aspects of partnered-project deliverables and timelines; proactively identify and address any issues, lead appropriate escalations as necessary, ensure smooth interactions and optimized collaboration outcomes.
Work across cross-functional teams, and technical program leadership (e.
g.
, External Director, Scientific Programs) in project coordination, ensuring efficient communication, deliverables, and timelines are met, aligning with partner expectations.
Collaborate across BigHat teams to ensure compliance and alignment with contract terms, and optimizing strategic synergy with external collaborators.
Provide regular updates to leadership on established partnership progress, issues, and resolutions, including updates on each managed collaboration.
Draft and circulate meeting minutes for all partner-project working team meetings and track key action items.
Prepare materials for joint steering committee and working team meetings (agenda, pre-read, slides, etc.
).
Serve as BigHat’s counterpart to external partner Alliance Managers.
Enhance BigHat's reputation as a partner of choice in the AI/ML drug discovery field.
Qualifications
BS or Master's Degree
Preferred: MD, PhD in a scientific field, or equivalent laboratory experience
Minimum of 3-5 years of dedicated Alliance Management experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical sector, including managing relationships with biopharma stakeholders.
Strong understanding of drug discovery and development processes.
Proven expertise in managing complex partnerships, establishing strong partner relationships, and navigating within cross-functional matrices, especially in the context of large pharmaceutical collaborations.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including senior executives, partners, and cross-functional teams
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Strong understanding of drug development processes (with preference for biologics experience), industry trends, and project management principles.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and manage multiple projects concurrently.
Strong leadership qualities, combining technical and interpersonal skills, with exceptional oral and written communication.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Ability to become fluent or existing fluency in GSuite; aptitude to adopt and learn other collaborative software tools.
