As the Global Indirect Tax Compliance Manager, you will report to the Global Indirect Tax Director to manage Roblox's global indirect tax compliance.
You have experience managing global indirect tax compliance as well as delivering indirect tax operational excellence through automation and process improvements, focusing on controls, automation, efficiency and analytics.
This role interacts with multiple business units and external advisors.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with a high level of collegiality, and should possess strong technical knowledge of global indirect taxes.
This position is based in San Mateo, CA (HQ).
You Will:
Manage the preparation of the monthly indirect tax calculations and filing of monthly/quarterly domestic indirect tax compliance.
Manage external tax advisors on international indirect tax compliance and domestic property tax returns to ensure timely accurate reporting and remittance.
Contribute to the design and implementation of ongoing systems improvements and automated tools critical to governance and future growth of the tax department.
Research indirect tax technical issues.
Partner closely with the business and external tax advisors in identifying and prioritizing indirect tax issues and opportunities.
Respond to notices from tax authorities and assist with indirect tax audits.
You Have:
An experienced professional with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, MS in Tax or CPA.
5+ years of indirect tax experience with a public accounting firm and/or corporate tax department.
Strong Knowledge of Indirect Tax Software (i.
e.
, Vertex, OneSource Indirect Tax, etc).
Technical knowledge of sales and use tax and global VAT/GST systems, and relevant industry experience handling indirect tax with digital products.
An expert using Excel to maximize the efficiency and accuracy of tax processes and reconciliations.
Experience leading discussions on sophisticated tax concepts in ways that are meaningful to non-tax professionals.

The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, location, business needs and market demand.
Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range.
This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.
Annual Salary Range
$146,050—$191,440 USD
Roles that are based in our San Mateo, CA Headquarters are in-office Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with optional in-office on Monday and Friday (unless otherwise noted).
