Position Overview:
Responsible for the day-to-day operations and oversight of the pool and aquatic staff.
Responsibilities include supervision, staffing, safety of patients and community members, first line for customer and patient complaints, enforcing and following rules and existing policies and procedures, will be present for all inspections, and follows all regulatory rules and guidelines.
Possesses knowledge and skills necessary to evaluate and oversee staff with clerical and administrative responsibilities.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
AHA Lifeguard Certification
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge and understanding of applicable local, state, federal and other laws, regulations and requirements impacting department operations.
Demonstrated leadership skills, including team building, and coaching/mentoring with the ability to motivate and engage others.
Ability to build and establish effective working partnership with employees, peers and/or leaders to achieve business objectives.
Verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrates organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects while delivering quality service/achieving business results.
Ability to handle difficult circumstances and make sound business decisions with little direction.
