*About the Organization and Position*
Well known Non-Profit is hiring a *Facility Operations Director* for their brand new inpatient program.
This program covers a 16 bed residential facility for those with Severe Mental Illness with a trauma background.
Clients are adults and usually stay 6-12 months.
This well known and well established agency provides psychiatry, medication management, outpatient substance use treatment, case management, supportive housing, LGBTQ youth and youth care.
Our services cross age ranges from children to older adults.
The *Facility Operations Director* is responsible for leadership and oversight of the entire facility and program.
The Facility Director is a member of the regional leadership team and is responsible for the development and implementation of policies and programs that will contribute to the overall success of the program.
The Facility Director acts as a liaison with government agencies, the community and the public relative to funding, contracts, and delivery of services.

*Responsibilities*
* Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the program.
* Plan and implement systems that perform the work and fulfill the mission and the goals of the program efficiently and effectively.
Ensure the ongoing excellence of the quality of care and cultural competence of the program and ensure it is provided in accordance with the principles of social rehabilitation and client-centered recovery.
* Plan and allocate resources to effectively staff and accomplish the work to meet program productivity and quality goals.
* Continually look for ways to improve the program and its services, and devise and implement periodic quality improvement plans.
Develop and implement quality assurance system for program.
Identify and correct deficiencies and recommend service enhancements and process improvements.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures of the State departments of social service and mental health, Community Care Licensing, the County of San Mateo Mental Health Department, the Commission on the Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF), and regularly participate in program reviews of regulatory entities.
*Experience*
* Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business or a departmentally related field.
*Master’s degree and CA BBS registered / licensed candidates strongly preferred.
*
* A minimum of *three years* of responsible leadership experience in management or supervisory positions.
* Strong operational experience: ideally has worked in a management role for 5+ years in a for profit or nonprofit organization with progressive experience leading to at least three years’ experience in operational/administrative management.
* Knowledge and experience in business, supervision, and management.
Specialized training in managing human resources, preferred.
* Knowledge of the functions, operation, and mission of inpatient behavioral health programs, preferred.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.
