Our client is looking for a full-time Tech Lead to join our team in the San Francisco Bay Area.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, engineering management, and software development.
Experience with Golang is a huge plus.
Responsibilities:
Lead a team of software engineers in the development of new products and features
Design and implement software architectures that are scalable, reliable, and maintainable
Work with product managers to define requirements and ensure that the team is building the right products
Mentor and coach junior engineers on technical skills and best practices
Monitor the performance of the team's products and make adjustments as needed
Stay up-to-date on the latest trends in software development
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
7+ years of experience in software development
Experience in leading and managing software engineering teams
Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be someone who has owned architectural decisions for a product, led a team, and is comfortable being full hands-on when needed.
Must have a history of scaling a product significantly
Experience with Golang is a huge plus.
Must be able to demonstrate an ability to take ownership, should feel comfortable making architectural decisions, and can handle a large scope.
