Product Software Architecture & Engineering team at Equinix is on a mission to help build Equinix’s next generation Platform offerings in Interconnection, Data Center Information Management, IoT, and Digital Experience.

Develops new software.
Develops and directs software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
Responsibilities Develop and maintain reusable UI components that can be used across multiple projects, applications, and platforms Implement front-end designs by the spec, provided in Figma, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks, specifically ReactJS, TypeScript, Storybook, Lit, Web Components, or similar technology Work closely with product managers, designers, and quality assurance teams to ship best-in-class user experiences Explore new technologies, make prototypes, and test ideas Optimize UI components for maximum performance and scalability Participate in all aspects of software development including design, coding, code review, unit testing, automation, and bug fixes Document and communicate technical specifications and best practices for using the reusable components Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 3+years of experience You have worked on web applications and have contributed to design system Experience with user-centered designs and have worked closely with designers You are a JavaScript ninja, and have use Typescript, React, Lit, Web Components in your recent work You have a passion for engineers as your customers and making their lives easier by providing well architected UI Components Understanding of performance optimization techniques for UI components Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a globally distributed team environment Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work on time Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience on DevOps toolkit like Git, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible is a plus Knowledge on Cloud Computing and Cloud Services like AWS, Google, Azure is a plus Equinix is committed to ensuring that our employment process is open to all individuals, including those with a disability.

The United States targeted pay range for this position in the following location is / locations are: • San Francisco, CA / Bay Area: $111,000 to $185,000 per year Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.
Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.
This position may be offered in other locations.
