Mobile Automation Architect

Mobile Automation Architect Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled Mobile Automation Architect who will be responsible for understanding, solutioning, architecting and delivering end to end Test Automation setups involving multiple applications for a residential and commercial mortgage services client.

Responsibilities: · Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Ability to translate functional requirements to technical design and Requirements.
· Architecting and scripting mobile automation on Android and IOS platforms with real and virtual devices using Appium, Browser stack, Sauce labs, Cucumber, TestNG, Junit, Groovy · On client approved frameworks · Should be able to bring strategy to the table, set up frameworks, lead the team while being capable of automating test cases and writing them as well · Testing engagement status reporting to Client stakeholders · CICD setup, QA Code repository maintenance, Pull request review.
· Accessibility Testing (ADA Testing Web/Mobile Native App) · Regularly provide technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors and vendors Required Skills/Qualifications: · 4 – 8 + years of hands-on experience on Mobile automation on Android and IOS platforms with real and virtual devices.
Worked on tools - Appium, Browser Stack, Sauce Labs, Espresso, XCUIT Test, Perfecto, Robotium, Tricentis Testim Mobile and UI Automator.
· Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
Ability to translate functional requirements to technical design and requirements.
· 6+ years of hands - on experience in Core Java, Object Oriented Programming and Test-Driven Development · Should be able to bring strategy to the table, set up frameworks, lead the team while being capable of automating test cases and writing them as well.
· Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Bamboo and TeamCity · Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle and strong understanding of Agile methodology and leveraging tools to improve development and testing efficiency (JIRA, GIT, JUnit, Karate) · Experience working with cloud deployments using AWS, Azure, or Cloud Foundry · Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving, and analytical skills.
· Ability to work independently, plan, organize, prioritize and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing environment - · Experience with Accessibility Testing (ADA Testing Web/Mobile Native App) - · Proficient in Cloud and Container based development (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker) is a plus.

) Salary and Other Compensation This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
