1989 Catalina Capri 14.
2 on a Trailer.
Both register, both titled.
CA.
Tired but sails! Stored in a garage for the last 5 years, recently had to move it out and thus it is for sale.
It is tarped but outside.
Currently strapped on the trailer and ready to go.
This is an easy to own, easy to tow, excellent entry into owning a trailerable sailboat.
I've moved it as recently as Sept 2023 and know that it is road worthy without any work needed.
Weights about 750 altogether (Boat + Trailer) and can be towed with nearly any vehicle.
Total length of the boat on trailer is 21 ft but due to the light weight this boat can be repositioned in your garage or driveway by hand by one person.
The trailer lights do not work, but it has working temp-lights attached to meet road worthiness (included).
The trailer includes an attached new spare tired (never needed) and in the crate is a new hitch mount from amazon (not installed).
Tires hold air and I re-greased the bearings in 2021.
The boat includes the original working main (2/3 batons) , original hank-on jib, and rolling furler jib.
Includes a fixed motor mount, swing keel, and pocket cubby (with included snap on pocket cover).
Standard working rudder.
Additionally included is a boom kicker (keeps the boom out of the cockpit), two life jackets, and square float (tired), original hiking straps.
There is also a spare drain plug.
I've trailered and sailed this boat from the bay area up to Lake Donner, Lake Tulloch, Lake Berryessa, and Lake Del Valle and never once had any issues with it on the road or in the water.
It's old and tired but it gets the job done for a cheap sailboat.
I've moved it in Sept 2023 and it is road
Send me an email and I will reply.
If this ad is up the boat is available.
I don't have time to sail it and now that it doesn't have a garage it is time to go.
Make me an offer and come pick it up.
I have the titles in hand.
