The guitar was acquired from the original owner who purchased it in new at Gelb Music (still in business) in Redwood City, CA with money saved from his paper route and washing dishes.
The guitar was played in a local high school garage band and then was put in its case and stored in a closet .

The serial number dates the the guitar to 1975.
The neck is date stamped September of '75.
The original matching pots are dated March of '75.
ORIGINAL:
Original glossy black finish, maple neck (with walnut "skunk stripe" on the back), nut, frets, markers, pickguard, etc.
All electronics are 100% original incl.
pickups, pots, toggle switch, all wiring and untouched solder joints.
Furthermore, all hardware is original including bridge, knurled knobs, tuners, bridge and bridge "ashtray" cover.
Original case candy includes Owner's Manual, Warranty Card and signed production Inspection Tag.

The condition of this guitar is as nice as they come with glossy black finish, shiny hardware, frets showing virtually now wear and nice, flat, unbroken pickguard.
Two imperfections include a bump in the finish to the back of the neck up near the volute and a 1/2" split in the paint on the top just below the 'ashtray'.
