Steinway & Sons Grand Piano Model B Serial number 160847 ~1913 Own a piece of history and reuse this beautiful instrument.
Resonance is full and bright.
Slight splits in sound board have no noticeable effect with no vibration.
Finish is semigloss with some patina from living over 100 years.
Small chips across finish.
Likely restrung at some point and frame regilded.
Hammer heads replaced and still have good life in the felts.
In the 70/80’s the ivory tops were replaced.
Other pianists have loved its tone! Just tuned 4/24/24 by Skylark Piano Service with no significant adjustments necessary.
