10 year old Maltese x Poodle mix (Palo Alto)

Adoption Fee: $400 Sammy is a 10 year old Maltese x Poodle mix who was returned to DPS when his former owner was diagnosed with a terminal medical condition.
No fault of Sammy at all, but we of course took Sammy back and promised to find her the best home for her golden years.
Sammy has a gorgeous non-shedding coat and is an option for those with allergies.
Sammy would do well in a quieter home where she has time to settle in.
She is basically a cat in a dog body, so if you are looking for a cat you can walk, that’s Sammy! She is a bit dog-selective on walks, so she could join a home with another dog, but would prefer to be someone’s one and only.
She has been fine with cats.
She is good with kids as long as they aren’t too loud.
Sammy loves her treats so that is a great way to win her love.
