Gelato is a 9 year old Maltese mix who is serving up scoops of fluffy cuteness! Gelato is a petite older gal who was surrendered with her friend, Froyo, after her former owner passed away and there was nobody to take her in.
We promised her we would find her the best home for her Golden years and after a groom and a visit to the dentist, she is ready for action! Gelato has a gorgeous non-shedding coat and is an option for homes with allergies, as long as they are prepared for the grooming requirements of the breed.
Gelato is a curious and loving gal who has a laid back and gentle demeanor.
She is an ideal dog for a home who is looking for either a companion for a resident dog or a lap dog cuddler.
She adores her people above all else, even treats, once she gets to know and love you and is known to do a happy dance when her foster returns home from work.
Gelato is what we call a butterfly dog: it can take her a bit of time to come out of her cocoon, but once she does she spreads her wings and flies!
