YOUR ROLE AND IMPACT Our IT Team is looking for a Infrastructure Engineer II with a strong background in systems and infrastructure engineering.
This role requires someone who is experienced at developing and administering robust, resilient, and efficient IT Infrastructure designed with security in mind.
In this role, we are looking for someone who has the following skills: Infrastructure Responsibilities - Design, implement, maintain, and administer a robust, scalable, and secure IT Infrastructure environment.
Architecture and administration of Windows domain infrastructure, virtualization, networking, storage, cloud, and security.
Evaluate existing systems, and propose improvements or upgrades to optimize performance, reliability, and security.
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure components to identify and resolve performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and other system-related problems.
Training Responsibilities - Write and perform training for IT Infrastructure and Service Desk staff on various technologies and applications.
Review and update technical training and documentation materials to reflect current processes and tools.
Conduct document reviews with the Director of IT Operations & Information Security and VP of Technology.
Support Responsibilities - Assist in IT Service Desk/Desktop Support coverage as an escalation point for the IT Service Desk when needed.
Have an understanding of Client/Server and Network Architecture.
Will need to be able to troubleshoot and provide resolution in a technical and non-technical capacity.
ROLE QUALIFICATIONS Our IT Infrastructure Engineer II possesses the following experience, skills and abilities: Bachelor's degree in the field of MIS or Computer Science and/or 7+ years equivalent IT experience.
Minimum 7 years as a Windows System Administrator with current versions.
Minimum 7 years of experience with routers, switches, firewalls Minimum 7 years of experience in Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies Objects.
Minimum 5 years' experience implementing and managing VMware virtualization in the most current versions in a high availability enterprise environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Office 365/Exchange Administration.
Minimum 5 years configuring Meraki firewalls, switches and Aps.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Storage SAN/NAS.
Minimum 5 years of experience supporting, maintaining, and administrating enterprise applications or cloud-based solutions such as OKTA and Box Minimum 5 years' experience implementing and managing storage at an enterprise level.
Minimum 3 years' experience with Information Security concepts and technologies/services.
Licenses or relevant certifications in systems and security such as those from Microsoft, ISC2, ISACA, Cisco, VMware, AWS or other applicable industry leading vendor or vendor neutral certifications strongly desired.
Strong technical expertise in networking protocols, topologies, and security, including TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, and routing protocols.
Proficiency in server infrastructure management, including physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and backup solutions.
Solid understanding of cloud computing concepts and experience with public and private cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or OpenStack.
Familiarity with configuration management tools, such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef, for automated provisioning and configuration of infrastructure components.
Strong knowledge of security principles and best practices, including access control, authentication, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Knowledge of scripting or programming languages, such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash, for automation and infrastructure management.
Experience with monitoring and performance tuning tools, such as Nagios, Zabbix, or SolarWinds.

Compensation Pay Range: $120,000.
