Hi there fellow housing-seekers, I’m considering relocating from Sacramento to San Francisco within first half of 2024 and seeking potential roommates who might want to apartment search together.
More details below! Neighborhoods: Flexible, but mostly interested in areas adjacent to Presidio, Golden Gate Park or Land’s End; Marina; Sunset; South Beach Budget: Hoping to stay at or (ideally) less than $2k/month, and hoping for someone to be able to roughly match (+/- ~$500).
I am willing to go up to $2300/mo if garage parking is included.
I am thinking we should be able to find a pretty swell place at this price.
About me: I’m a mid-30s professional working in the climate change space and living with a ~9-10 year old Australian cattle dog/emotional support animal.
She is incredibly sweet and snuggly.
I’m into a lot of outdoorsy things (hiking, running, cycling, paddle boarding, and camping) but also enjoy photography, cooking, and gardening.
I’m an introverted extrovert - while I enjoy spending time with my friends (mostly in nature), I also really deeply value quiet time at home to recharge.
I like occasionally hosting friends for brunch or dinner, but am not generally a big partier at home.
I see home as a private sanctuary and like to keep it fairly clean and organized; I’m looking for someone willing to split chores and communicate to maintain the space.
I’m happy to take on extra vacuuming (including with a robot vacuum) to account for extra pet dirt/dust.
Am LGBTQ+ friendly and hope you are too.
Looking for? I would love to be within walking distance of the ocean or Presidio or Golden Gate Park and basic amenities like groceries.
Close nature access and walkability is my entire draw to San Francisco.
Other primary preferences include: * Garage parking.
I’m willing to pay the extra for it.
If we can’t find it at apartments we like, I am willing to pay for it elsewhere as long as it’s within walking distance of home.
* Full kitchen.
I like to cook and have kitchen stuff.
We need a full size fridge/decent cabinet and pantry space.
* Good natural light.
I have a ton of houseplants.
They’re pretty and add dimension and nature to the space.
Maybe you have some too?! * Balcony or outdoor access (yard even better).
It’s so nice with a dog to have some outside space.
A backyard is most ideal, but even a little balcony is better than nothing.
I’m a decent gardener and have had a fair bit of luck with container gardening, so with the right lighting we could have extra peppers/tomatoes.
Not a deal-breaker, but nice.
Interested in chatting more? Let me know.
Thanks all, and happy looking.
