youngish professional looking for housing (Santa Cruz)

hello! my name danny and i work in education in the bay area.
i am starting my second year in the tenure process and looking to move closer to where i work.
i am open to share a room in a house with communicative people or rent a flat/studio on my own.
looking for community and positive vibes :) the living space i am looking for must have space for bikes and surfboards.
i also can’t live in a room without windows or that has no natural light.
i know i am sounding a little picky but just want to save us both time :) I love my profession of helping individuals find their career/purpose and academic paths in life.
outside my work I try to surf, run, read, play pickleball and do creative work as much as possible.
as a friend and a housemate/tennant people would describe me as a dependable, considerate, curious, kind, funny/silly and a sensitive/compassionate individual.
