Hi.
I am going to move to the San Francisco Bay Area sometime between Feb 28 and Mar 1 and am looking for a room (with a bed) to rent to get started.
I am looking for a month-to-month or week to week arrangement with no security deposit or, if necessary, a maximum security deposit of $ 400.
The maximum rent I can pay at this time is around $ 900 - 1000 monthly (or $ 207 - 230 weekly), depending on whether utilities are included or not.
I don't wish to enter a lease agreement at this time.
I figure it is best to start out with a temporary arrangement and if all goes well, we can discuss extending my stay.
I am moving from out of town and therefore I cannot come to meet you and view the apartment in advance.
A few pictures would be helpful, so that I could have an image in my mind.
The website forces me to choose a specific part of the San Francisco Bay Area, so I did, but as long as I live near frequent public transportation, I don’t have to be in one specific area.
Who am I? I am a male, 60-year-old, honest, peaceful, open-minded, easy to get along with, non-smoking (I prefer a home in which smoking is done outdoors), mostly vegetarian (but I have nothing against meat-eaters), nice roommate.
I am vaccinated against COVID-19.
I keep things clean.
I have a lot of experience living in shared apartments/houses.
I have the money to pay rent and I am conscientious about paying the rent on time.
I can provide references.
Thank you for reading my message.
