Looking for a large, quiet room with some storage space (sunnyvale)

Hello, I'm looking for a large room to rent, like a master suite type situation, in a house or apartment in the Sunnyvale area.
I'm flexible on location for the right situation, but probably no more than 10 or 15 miles from northeast San Jose where my work is presently.
Primary concern is getting good sleep, so it's really important that the place be quiet at night.
I don't mind noise during the day or the occasional roommate barbeque.
A live-in landlord situation is preferable as I have found these situations to be more stable(no new, and potentially noisy, roommates cycling in every 6 months or so), but I'm not restricted to this situation.
I'm a male in my 50's who works as an analog designer for a start-up company.
I also enjoy electronics as a hobby, so having a place to engage this hobby would be a big plus.
I exercise regularly(I climb Mission Peak once a week).
I clean up after myself(I keep my current apartment very clean) and pay my bills on time.
I like to be social at home but also like my privacy when I want it.
I'm also into music and audio.
Please let me know if you have a place that sounds like a good fit for me.
